Denzel Curry Covers Rage Against The Machine's "Bulls on Parade" – XXL

Denzel Curry is the latest artist to appear on Australian outlet Triple J’s Like a Version cover series, and he chose a 1996 classic for his performance. Covering Rage Against the Machine’s “Bulls on Parade,” the Florida rapper also added his own flair by mixing in a verse from his TA13OO album track “Sirens | Z1renz,” a cut that also features J.I.D and singer Billie Eilish.

As Denzel rocks out with a live band, his “Sirens” lyrics mix perfectly with the overall message of the politically conscious original track.

“President in abundance/President is a puppet/Gotta hate it, gotta love it,” he spits. “Pass a class, I rise above it/Wise enough, advise the public/Pistol bust, screamin’ ‘fuck it’/Donald Trump, Donald Duck/What the fuck is the difference?”

TA13OO served as the rapper’s third studio album, and was released in the summer of 2018. Just before the year was out, Denzel announced that he’s currently working on two projects set for release in 2019 — a dubstep album and a collaborative effort with country legend, Willie Nelson. Most recently, he appeared alongside Idk in the video for their collab, “Once Upon a Time (Freestyle),” which is a cut off Idk’s Idk & Friends 🙂 project.
