Travis Scott Fans Storm Doors After Show Postponed – XXL

Travis Scott fans in Tulsa, Okla. were less than pleased to find out the rapper’s sold-out show had been postponed on Monday night (Feb. 11). It didn’t help that they found out about the postponement only upon arrival at the venue.

According to a new report from Washington Top News published on Tuesday morning (Feb. 12), a crowd of fans got rowdy outside of the BOK Center Monday night when they arrived to a large “POSTPONED” sign, causing Tulsa police to shoot pepper balls to disperse them. One fan even threw a water bottle at the arena’s doors, cracking the glass. No injuries were reported, however.

Later that night, Scott apologized to fans on Twitter, and revealed the reasoning behind the last-minute cancellation was “production issues.”

“Tulsa so sorry I can’t perform at tonight’s sold out show,” the rapper wrote on Monday night (Feb. 11). “We had last minute production issues and I can’t give y’all an incomplete show. Rescheduled to March 26 all tix still valid. Everyone get home safe.”

This is not the first time La Flame has had to reschedule a stop on the Astroworld tour for production issues. Following its kickoff in Baltimore back in November, the rapper postponed show dates in Tampa Bay, Fla., Hartford, Conn., Cleveland, Ohio and Milwaukee, Wisc. for the same reason.

The news follows Travis’ successful performance of his tracks “Stop Trying to be God” and “No Bystanders” at the 2019 Grammy Awards, where his album Astroworld was nominated for Rap Album of the Year. He ultimately lost to Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy.
