Waka Flocka Calls Jay-Z's Bars on XXXTentacion's Death 'Uncalled For'

Waka Flocka Calls Jay-Z's Bars on XXXTentacion's Death 'Uncalled For'

In case you missed it, Drake released a new album in Scorpion this past Friday and took over the game with 25 tracks, half Hip-Hop, half R&B. Joining him were some exclusive artists in Michael Jackson and Jay-Z, the latter of the two sparking a reaction from Waka Flocka.

Hov was featured on the track “Talk Up” where he had a strong reaction to the death of XXXTentaction by spitting:

I got your President tweetin’, I won’t even meet with him
Y’all killed X and let Zimmerman live, shhh, s-streets is done

Flocka spoke out against the lyrics for Hov stating that it was “uncalled for” and citing the amount of money in Jay’s pockets to say that he “could’ve got that job done but blame the unguided youth.” Flocka made sure to detail that he has much respect for Jigga but stated the death of the late Florida rapper had to do with “pure hate and jealousy,” which one can make the argument that Jay also believes based on his commentary.

Hov’s contribution to Scorpion is one of the latest efforts from the ever-sharp mind of Hov as he recently went in on the Everything is Love alongside his wife Beyonce. The two are also on tour in Europe right now and with the recent passing of XXX, the verse on “Talk Up” was completed and passed to Drake recently.

Do you think that Waka Flocka has a point regarding Jay-Z’s bars and criticism of society? Let us know in the comments.
