Chief Keef Refuses to Talk About New York City Shooting – XXL

Chief Keef avoided harm when he was the victim of a shooting outside of the W Hotel in Times Square in New York City on Saturday (June 2), but when it comes to talking about the incident, Sosa is keeping a zipped lip.

The Chicago rapper was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday by TMZ, and when asked about the “scary incident,” he pleaded the Fifth. After putting his finger over his mouth to signify that he had nothing to say, Keef commented, “We don’t have scary incidents.”

GBE affiliate Tadoe, however, did have something to say. “Fuck all the ops. What you want to know?” he snapped. “Fuck all the ops. Y’all know how the fuck we coming through. Fuck all the ops, we from Chiraq. You know what we do to people?”

As previously reported, Keef and crew were returning to the W Hotel when two men fired shots at them. No one was injured in the shooting and police are looking for two black males wearing hoodies who were seen fleeing the scene after the shots were fired.

While the “I Kill People” rapper is being mute on the situation, his team has released a statement to XXL about the incident. “Chief Keef, who was in New York for an event, along with his team and the other members of Glory Boyz Entertainment (GBE) that were traveling with him are safe,” it reads. “Despite today’s recent events Keef’s main focus is continuing to release quality music and finishing up his upcoming projects which include Mansion Musick, which is set to be released in July through RBC Records and Glory Boyz Entertainment Records, along with a few surprise projects for his fans that will be released throughout the year.”
